Camera Ready Manuscript Submission

Our proceedings will be published by IEEE Xplore. Camera ready manuscript must be according to IEEE format.

The procedures to submit a final manuscript are explicitly outlined below. Please follow the instructions carefully to assure your paper will be included in the conference proceedings.

IEEE has very stringent requirements for the papers to be included in the IEEE Xplore system. Authors are asked to carefully examine their paper to ensure that it is IEEE Xplore compliant. CIE40 committee has registered the use of an IEEE tool: IEEE PDF eXpress. IEEE PDF eXpress is a free service to to generate IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF Files or to check PDF Files created by authors for IEEE Xplore compatibility. Prior to submitting your final paper, please check acceptability of your paper at IEEE PDF eXpress.

IEEE PDF eXpress will: convert a wide range of application formats to IEEE Xplore -compatible PDFs, check author-created PDFs and report whether or not they are IEEE Xplore -compatible, and provide assistance to correct problems with PDFs. Steps for submission:

  1. Create manuscript(s) according to IEEE format.
  2. Proofread and check layout of manuscript.
  3. Create IEEE PDF eXpress account.
  4. Upload source file(s) for Conversion; and/or PDF(s) for Checking.
  5. Use IEEE PDF eXpress to attain IEEE Xplore -compatible PDF(s).
  6. Submit final, IEEE Xplore-compatible PDF(s).

To subimt camera ready manuscript, Send e-mail to cie40.submission@gmail.com with following files.

  • IEEE Xplore-compliant PDF file
  • Signed IEEE Copyright Form

A E-mail for submission must be send for each paper. Fill only cie-ID(cieXXXyy-z) on the subject of the e-mail, and write your name and the title of the paper on the text. Do not send any question or request to this address. Please send them to cie40 committe address (cie40@eb.kobegakuin.ac.jp).

Publication

All abstracts and final papers will be published in the conference proceedings in CD format. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit an extended version of their work for review and potential publications in a special issue of Computers & Industrial Engineering: An International Journal.
